Stuart is our Chief Finance and Chief Operating Officer and believes people matter as much as numbers. He leads with humility and care, encouraging our talent to grow and thrive. With almost 30 years of Financial Services experience and a Director of Martin Currie Investment Management, Martin Currie Inc and Martin Currie Fund Management Limited, Stuart has been instrumental in reshaping the business, focusing on core capabilities and simplification. Before joining Martin Currie in 2008, Stuart helped establish a start-up Life Assurance company (Bright Grey) in 2003, expanding to over 300 employees.
A Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Charterholder with a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance, Stuart grew up on a farm in Zimbabwe before moving to Scotland and is a former Scottish International cricketer.
